Our Pelvic Fertility Baseline Scan is designed for individuals who are planning for pregnancy or currently undergoing fertility treatment. This scan provides the essential baseline assessment of your pelvic anatomy that fertility clinics typically require before or during treatment.
Available to clients aged 16 and over, the scan is performed by an experienced, qualified sonographer with specialist diagnostic expertise.

- A detailed ultrasound assessment of the uterus (including size, shape and condition), endometrium, both ovaries, and surrounding pelvic structures

How the Scan is Performed:
For optimal clarity and the most accurate assessment, this scan is best performed transvaginally. This involves the sonographer gently inserting a specialised ultrasound probe into the vagina, with your full consent.
If you prefer not to undergo a transvaginal scan, a transabdominal scan (performed externally on the lower abdomen) may be possible. However, please note that image quality and diagnostic accuracy may be reduced with this method.
After Your Scan:
You will receive a clear, written summary of your results, including guidance on recommended next steps. If medical follow-up is advised, we can send a copy of your report directly to your healthcare provider at no additional cost, provided you supply their contact details.
