The Anomaly Scan, also known as the 20-week detailed anatomy scan, is a comprehensive ultrasound examination designed to assess your baby’s development and identify any potential indicators of abnormalities.
This scan provides a thorough review of your baby’s anatomy and overall wellbeing. It is particularly recommended if your pregnancy has been identified as higher risk following a previous scan or screening test. It can also be performed as an alternative when earlier screening tests were not undertaken.
We strongly advise that you share your Anomaly Scan report with your usual healthcare provider to ensure continuity of care.
