Our shave excision mole removal service offers a safe, effective, and minimally invasive method to remove benign moles for cosmetic or diagnostic purposes. This procedure is performed by experienced clinicians using precise techniques and modern equipment to ensure excellent cosmetic results and minimal downtime.

What’s Included in the Procedure:

  • Consultation & Dermatoscopy Examination:
    Every mole is assessed using high-resolution dermatoscopy to ensure it is safe to remove and to document its appearance. A detailed report is included for your records or to share with your GP or dermatologist.

  • Local Anesthesia:
    A local anesthetic is administered to ensure the procedure is completely pain-free.

  • Shave Excision Technique:
    The mole is carefully shaved flat to the surface of the skin using a sterile surgical blade. This method is ideal for raised moles that are non-cancerous.

  • Laser Cauterisation:
    After removal, a medical-grade laser is used to cauterise the area, reducing bleeding and promoting faster healing with minimal scarring
