This appointment is carried out by one of our fully qualified sonographers with extensive diagnostic scanning experience, providing you with professional and reassuring care during your early pregnancy.
Your 20-minute diagnostic appointment includes:
- Time for check-in at reception, your ultrasound scan, viewing your images (where time allows), and the opportunity to ask any questions
- Standard dating measurements to accurately assess your gestational age
- Confirmation of pregnancy viability
- A wellbeing check for your baby, including assessment of your baby’s heartbeat
- Professional guidance if anything unexpected is identified during this routine scan
- Printed ultrasound images to take home
- A printed diagnostic report for your records
- Our aim is to provide reassurance, clarity, and expert care during this important stage of your pregnancy.
